Research and Professional Interests
Dr. Gallagher’s goal is to facilitate teaching, research, and public engagement activities that promote quality of life across the lifespan. Her research interests include:
• Syntactic and pragmatic language assessment and intervention with language disordered children at high risk for social and behavioral problems
• In-utero fetal brain development in populations at high risk for communication disorders
• Post-treatment effects following treatment for oro-pharyngeal cancer
• Speech-language pathology treatment outcomes.
