UM Department of Radiation Oncology
Dr. Roberson received his PhD from the University of Wyoming in 1976. From 1979 to 1981, he was a Staff Fellow at the Radiation Oncology Branch of the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, Md. From 1981 to 1987, he was at the Radiological Calibration Laboratory at the Battelle Memorial Institute in Richland, Washington. In 1987, he joined the faculty of the Radiation Oncology Department of the University of Michigan. He was certified by the American Board of Health Physics in 1986, and the American Board of Radiology in Therapeutic Radiological Physics in 1989. His main clinical focus has been the physics off-campus programs, particularly the operation of seven clinics in Michigan, including the startup of four of those clinics. Research interests have included dosimetry for radiolabeled antibodies, dosimetry for prostate implant brachytherapy, and external beam interface
