Marcus Llewellyn Ward
The Michigan Alumnus 459

Dr. Ward was born at Howell, Au
gust 5, 1875, and attended what was
 then Fenton Normal College before en
tering the University. After receiving 
his A.B. degree, he served for a year 
as a demonstrator in the College of 
Dental Surgery, and became an instructor the next year. During the
 year 1905-06, Dr. Ward was a lec
turer, and he became a Professor in
 1908. He is a Past President of the
 Michigan State Medical Society, 
 American Dental Association, American Association of Dental Schools, and 
is a member of other organizations.
