Lawrence R. Griewski
Regents' Proceedings 868

The faculty of the Department of Radiology and The University of Michigan Medical Center join the Regents in expressing their deep regret at the passing of Professor Lawrence Griewski, who served as a member of the faculty for more than 21 years.

Among his many noteworthy characteristics was his intense loyalty to his department and the University. His mastery of all those skills that made every task possible for him will make a replacement difficult, if not impossible to find.

Professor Griewski was above all else a team player that was always willing to share his extensive and practical knowledge of radiologic equipment and engineering. His particular skills in construction and renovations made him an invaluable contributor in the planning for departmental space in the new Adult General Hospital and in the development of the Nuclear Magnetic Resonance facility, which is now close to completion.

The Regents now extend to the family of this sensitive, devoted husband and father their deepest sympathies and condolences.
