Justin Hyuck-Jin Junn

Dr. Junn is a UW clinical assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology, focusing on abnormal uterine bleeding, pre-cancerous gynecologic disease and contraception in the medically complex patient. He also provides routine prenatal care, and serves as the benign gynecologist for patients with cancer and bone marrow transplantation at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. He utilizes both medical and surgical treatment options, including laparoscopic (minimally invasive) surgery.
Dr. Junn earned his bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. He then attended the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, MI, to earn his M.D., during which he also earned an M.B.A. at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. He completed his residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Michigan before becoming a faculty member of that same department. In 2015, he moved to Seattle, WA, to become a faculty member at the University of Washington Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Junn is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, as well as, the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons. He is an active candidate for board certification in obstetrics and gynecology.
