Hashim S. Nainar
University of Toronto

Dr. Nainar graduated as a pediatric dentist from the University of Connecticut in 1991. His endeavours in pediatric dentistry not only impacted patients, but also many other dentists and the overall pediatric dentistry profession in North America and abroad.

Dr. Nainar is an Associate Professor (with tenure) in the Division of Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Toronto. Prior to this he was Associate Professor (with tenure), Course Coordinator and Division Head (Pediatric Dentistry) at the University of Alberta. Other posts included Director, Pre-doctoral Pediatric Dentistry Program, Clinical Associate Professor Department of Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Michigan; and Lecturer in the Department of Cardiology, Restorative Sciences and Endodontics School of Dentistry, University of Michigan. As a clinical preceptor in pediatric dentistry he has lectured at other institutions such as University of Connecticut and King Saud in Saudi Arabia.
