GEORGE E. PALMER, '30, J.D.'32, a former member of the LAW REVIEW edi torial board and of the Order of Coif, re turned to the Michigan Campus in 1946, and is now a full Professor of Law. After receiving his law degree, he practiced in Indianapolis until 1939, when he decided to enter the teaching profession. He enrolled at Columbia University and received the LL.M degree in 1940. After a year as a member of the University of Kansas faculty, Professor Palmer went to Wash ington to serve on the OPA. He was on the legal staff there when the late George J. Burke, '07l, was General Counsel, and he became Associate General Counsel. Professor Palmer returned to the University of Kansas faculty for a year before joining the faculty at Ann Arbor. Mrs. Palmer is the former Ruth Hamersley, a graduate of Indiana University, and they have three children.
