ALGO D. HENDERSON, former member of the President's Commission on Higher Education and Associate Director for the Commission to Study the Need of a State University in New York, is Pro fessor of Higher Education at the Univer sity. He also serves as Secretary of the Committee on College Relations and as a liaison representative of the University in its relations with the colleges of Michi gan. Before coming to Ann Arbor in 1950, he was Associate Commissioner in Charge of Higher Education and the administra tion of the 21 state colleges for the state of New York, and earlier was President of Antioch College. He received the LL.B. and the CPA certificate at the University of Kansas where he once taught. His M.B.A. came from Harvard, and he is the recipient of several honorary degrees.
